PROGRAMME OF EVENTS 2019
Throughout the Festival we will be running a Fly Tying Competition in the Marquee, anyone can enter, just bring along your fly tying materials. On Sunday at Prizegiving a bottle of Curio Gin will be presented to Fly judged to be the best.

Events for Demonstration Day 2
09:00 - 10:30 Hands on fishing session at St Just - meet by the boatyard at 09:00am. Fish until 10:30 hrs. Park in the Church Car Park and walk along the road down to the boatyard. Anglers should have their rods made up with a clouser fly attached to a 9 foot leader. A floating, intermediate or sink tip line is sufficient. Waders are advised.. Session run by Neville Broad.
11:00 - 12:00 Derek Aunger Casting Demonstration and Clinic (at Ploughshares, Pedn Moran, St Mawes)
Afterwards there will be a chance for some one to one tuition.
12:00 - 13:30 Break for Lunch.
13:30 - 15:00 Meet at St Mawes harbour, Martin Webster and Michael Rescorle will be leading two separate sessions talking about "General prospecting with a fly rod from the shore"
15:30 - Meet at St Mawes Harbour , chance for the guides to take you to some of their favourite marks.
18:00 Registration for The Salt Competition and Safety briefing in the Marquee on the Quay.
18:30 - St Mawes Hotel for social
19:00 - Food
20:00 - Derek Aunger's Quiz followed by Films at the St Mawes Hotel Cinema
Our Guides will be wondering the coast throughout the 1 and a half days of competition offering advice to anyone who would like some.
